2013 Annual Report

Welcome to the Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society for the year 2013.

It is a pleasure to report that the Society continues to successfully meet its charitable objects ‘providing care for formers seafarers and their dependents in need’, in all respects, in an environment where success in caring for elderly people is challenging and under intense scrutiny.

You will find in the following pages clear evidence that we are achieving, and in many aspects exceeding, the standards and goals we must meet.
