2022 Annual Report

Welcome to the Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society for the year 2022.

It has been another astonishing year at the Society, and whilst the worst strictures of the pandemic have passed, we have all had to learn to live with COVID-19. The modernisation project continued throughout 2022 as it nears completion and our Catering Team celebrated a well-deserved award win, for Catering Team of the Year. Due to the dedication of our staff and the excellent facilities we continued to provide the highest quality care to former seafarers and their dependants in need.
