2014

The home was buzzing with news throughout 2014, from a resident and D-Day veteran honoured with a remembrance award, to star-studded visitors and green initiatives.

In March, Anne Kasey was recognised for her exemplary commitment to Royal Alfred, being named ‘Care Home Manager of the Year’ at Nursing and Residential Care Awards.

June was also eventful, with Roy Ticehurst, a popular tenant at Weston Acres House, awarded the ‘Lest We Forget Bradford Exchange’ award to honour the contributions and sacrifices made by him and his fellow servicemen.
