Update from the Home Manager

The Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society is committed to ensuring that we keep all residents, tenants and staff as safe as possible during the new phase of Covid-19. We are monitoring the situation carefully and are following regular advice from the Government and the authorities.

Given the latest rise in Coronavirus cases nationally, as a preventative measure we are asking all non-essential visitors, including family members and friends, not to visit Belvedere House until further notice.  We do not implement this lightly but it seems crucial at this time; however if your family member is very poorly we will carefully consider making an exception in order to be as compassionate as possible.

Our staff will ensure that life in the home continues as normal as possible and the Society is well-prepared to continue to deliver the high level of care and service the Royal Alfred is known for should the situation change.

We appreciate your support and patience at this time and would ask that residents’ families and friends monitor the Society’s social media channels for further information.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the home on 01737 360106.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Kind Regards,

Anne Kasey RGN, RMA, Dip.HE

Registered Home Manager, Belvedere House.
