Words of appreciation
Real voices, real impact – here’s what families say about their experience:

I would have no hesitation to recommend this home to anyone.
After my initial visit and a good look around, I made the decision to move my relative [to Belvedere House]. I wish I had done it sooner, as everything from her professional and smooth admission to her care to date has been exceptional, and I cannot fault it in any way. I have always found the staff to be friendly, caring and nothing is too much.

We cannot thank you enough.
Our mother was cared for at Belvedere House. The care, kindness and support she received was excellent. Her spacious room with the view of the courtyard garden meant she was able to see outside which has provided great comfort to her as her mobility declined. Everyone on the team from our initial introduction… through to housekeeping and the exceptional care and nursing team was warm, professional and supportive in responding to her needs with the utmost compassion and respect.

We were treated with great kindness, patience and respect.
My husband stayed at Belvedere House for two weeks respite care… We had three or four visits before his stay. At all times, we were treated with great kindness, patience and respect. Sadly, he cannot remember his stay, but I know he was very well cared for. He adjusted to home life very easily on his return. We look forward to using Belvedere House again in the future.

Green fingers at work!
It was lovely to see Joan, one of our residents, and Janice, one of our tenants, enjoying some gardening together in the raised bed outside the bar. With plenty of smiles and teamwork, they’ve added a splash of colour and care to our grounds.
Moments like these show how special it is when our community comes together – friendship, fresh air, and a shared love of gardening.

Our chefs have been busy in the kitchen again, treating residents to something a little different – lamb kofta kebabs with soft flatbreads and homemade tzatziki.
Freshly made, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, this Mediterranean-inspired dish brought plenty of smiles around the dining room. It’s always a joy to see our residents enjoying new tastes alongside their favourite classics.
👨🍳 A big thank you to our catering team for continuing to go above and beyond to make mealtimes such a highlight of the day!

We’ve started taste testing some new dishes for the Christmas period, and these beauties were a clear winner!
Crispy crab cakes served with sweet chilli sauce and a refreshing chilli & lime salad – they were so good, they’ve already earned themselves a place on our New Year’s Day menu.
Keep an eye out for more festive tasters as we shape the menus for the season ahead and we can’t wait to share them with you!

✨ A touch of magic at Belvedere House ✨
We were delighted to welcome magician Kelly Kadabra for a special visit. Kelly’s show was full of laughter, amazement, and wonder, and she made sure no one missed out. Residents who wanted to enjoy the magic but couldn’t join the main gathering were treated to their own personal performance right at their bedside.
It was a truly joyful day, with smiles all around and a reminder of how powerful a little magic can be.
